Start of something new

So I've decided to try my hand at blogging again...I've done it before but never really stuck with it. This time though I have more to talk about I feel.


First, I am a college student (almost done with undergraduate work) in a tiny college town in Western PA. I live with my fiance and our two mini-dachshunds, Zelda and Scooby. Moving out of home and out onto my own has been quite the experience to say the least but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

They were born in September of 2011 and we first met them while visiting my dad & stepmom in Nashville, in January of 2012. They are puppies from their mini-doxie. We immediately fell in love with them and they attached to us as well. At the time though we weren't living together yet and couldn't take them with us, so it was agreed that the girls would stay with them until we got a place.


Fast forward to late April/early March and my fiance has a job lined up closer to my University and we are getting an apartment. So we make the drive to Nashville to pick up a u-haul full of furniture and these two girls.

Not going to lie, it has been a challenge raising these two at times (doxie's are notoriously stubborn) but coming home everyday to never-ending kisses and amusement has been well worth it.

To be honest I'm not sure what direction I want to take with this blog yet, but we will see where it ends up. Right now though, it's just a story of two people and their little sausage-dogs.
